This includes the Manage Characters piece and initial Character rolls.
It seems like it would good if manage characters or the sheet somehow had a space to store temporary rolls. As we know this process is quite complicated and when one does 10 d100 rolls with no specific info attached to them they are fairly hard to keep track of. It would be nice if there was a structure to handle capturing these rolls. Perhaps a stat gain button on the sheet? To make it even more complex (and therefore simpler for the end user) make it handle the table lookup and drop in the right numbers after the roll is made.
A simpler option would be just to store the rolls in order with stat names or a least 1-10 numbers beside the box they are stored in...
I know that when I've gone through the CharGen process 'where to put the numbers' was a fairly big issue while I was shifting them around into the proper slots and whatnot. Maybe a way to shift the initial die rolls around and reorder them on a stat table... hrm.

I'd like to second that motion, your honor! :)

As a GM, there are lots of times when the details of the NPC stats (exactly how puny/heroic) are not crucial to the narrative, but then again still good to know, in regards to the game and the roleplaying, and when the preset info on generic NPCs of character law (table 10.18) are just not quite enough to be helpful for anything but combat.

At such times, an efficient calculator of temps pots and stat gains would be an immense help.

Ideally, it should keep track of accumulated Development points too, according to the assigned level, so that all that you, as a GM, would really need to do, is equip the character with items and skills (which has less to do with game mechanics, and more with storyline).

That would be awesome. (and quite a sales point for FG as well, to all the other game mechanics burdened GMs out there, too.)

I am in the process of working on this now. I have a pretty slick system for handling stat gain rolls that only takes about 5 seconds to complete. I am working on the skill development right now.
